The project will also promote and communicate higher education institutions’ contribution to society and regional community, based on the experience and insights of key stakeholders from across the whole European Union. The project will also collect a several good practices of successful UAS engagement on the local level.

EUROSTUDENT VII (2018 – 2020)
During the summer semester of the academic year 2018/2019, the seventh round of the international survey EUROSTUDENT is being held in the Czech Republic. The EUROSTUDENT survey is focused on the socio-economic dimension of student´s life in Europe. Main topics are, for example, issues focused on economic conditions of study (resources and expenses), housing, possible difficulties of students who have to tackle with health problems, experience with foreign mobility or satisfaction with the choice of degree programme. A total of 28 European countries, including the Czech Republic, participate in the research. The target population of the research is students of bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes and the survey was in the form of an on-line questionnaire.
The results of the EUROSTUDENT research are essential not only from the point of view of individual research topics, but also because they allow a broad (European) comparison over time and thus identify trends related to students and their socio-economic background.
Information about the first results (from the beginning of August 2019) is available here.
